Blog Rules

These rules have been put in place to ensure that this blog is a safe and respectful online learning forum where students can confidently share their learning. 

Sharing Posts and Information

Make sure that we are being digital citizens and are keeping ourselves safe online.

• Do not use your last name.
• Never give anyone your address, email address or phone number.
• Do not post photos of others without their permission.
• Student's posts are checked by the class teacher before they are posted.
• All comments submitted are approved by the class teacher before they are posted to the blog. 

Relating to Others

When commenting use the Finlayson Park School 4C's.

• Considerate: Be considerate of others and their learning posts.
• Courteous: Be courteous towards others by reading their learning posts and responding in a positive and constructive manner.
• Common Sense: Use your common sense. If you know that something being posted or said is inappropriate then DON'T do or say it.
• Co-operation: We are apart of the blogger community so it is important that we work together to make sure that our websites are safe. You must be accepting of others comments and if you don't agree that is okay.

Be Literate

When sharing posts about your learning don't forget it needs to be your best work!

• Use capital letter appropriately, including full stops, writing in complete sentences, check your spelling and general punctuation. 
• ALWAYS PROOFREAD.
• You are sharing your thoughts with the world. Present yourself in the best light.
