M&MS Maths- Promise

In B9 we were learning about statistics. My friends and I had to run our own statistical investigation. We had to find out what the most popular colour was in an M&M packet. The first thing we did was separate the M&Ms into groups according to their colour. Then we had to see which M&M was the most popular and the least popular. In our packet the most popular colour was orange. The other groups had different popular colours like blue or brown. We then had to create a bar graph out of the M&Ms and record it into our maths books. It was fun because we got to eat them at the end.

    Thank you for sharing Promise. I always found statistics very difficult at school but this sounds like a fun way to learn. I think I would like the eating part too. What was the least popular colour in your packet?

    HI Promise I really liked your blog because the languge you have used was really interesting
